Video Intercom systems are used to allow visitors through electronically locked gates or doors. when the visitor is at the entry they press a button below a video camera. The internal station/handset, ring and the picture will show the vistor at the entrance. If acceptance occurs the occupant can press a button on the hand set to release the electonic lock on the door or gate and allow entry.
